Meet your guides
Luke & Trisha Gilkerson are homeschool parents to six children and the co-founders of Journey Homeschool Academy.
Luke holds a Master’s degree in Religious Studies and has spent decades teaching and writing about theology, worldview, and Christian discipleship. Trisha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Counseling, bringing both scientific training and a deep understanding of how students learn and process challenging ideas.
As curriculum creators, their goal is not simply to give students answers to memorize, but to help families ask good questions, think critically, and engage difficult topics with humility, wisdom, and faith.
Through Journey Homeschool Academy, they’ve created science courses used by thousands of homeschool families who want rigorous academics taught through a thoughtful Christian worldview.
